Loved your story. Your mom sounds as feisty as MY tiny mom was, despite the gradual losses that accompanied aging. I was privileged to have her in my life until she was 90. Lucky indeed, was I!

Your story was wonderfully uplifting and it makes me feel so grateful that I'm very blessed to still have my Mom with me and that we share an apartment. I'm 62 nearly 63 and she is still a very bright 90 going on 91 in January 2006. She walks most days nearly 1km, helps with the washing up of some dishes at mealtimes (packs the dishwasher) and also helps with the laundry. She also plays a mean game of Scrabble and loves doing Blockword puzzles. She also reads the Reader's Digest from cover to cover.
I love her dearly and she is and always will be the best friend I will ever have beside my blessed Lord.
So although I would love to have written something for your book, I am so fervently glad that I can still have her here with me.
God bless you and all the very best with your book.
