Our Needs as the Result of a Lost Loved One

          Sometimes by Gerry Murak

Sometimes we just need the space from all of the words of comfort, encouragement and companionship offered after the loss of a loved one.

Sometimes we just need the space to sweat the emotions of loss out of our body through physical activity.

Sometimes we just need the space to get busy doing something else.

Sometimes we just need the space.

          Sometimes we just need.

          Sometimes,

          but

          not all

          of the time.

Death Tolls Are NOT Scores!    by Gerry Murak

Each birth is individual, regardless of the number of babies born at the same time and day.

Each life is lived by an individual. Individuals do not live the same life. Each life is unique.

Each death is individual, regardless of the number of people who die at the same time.

Each death is unique, regardless if it is from the same cause or for the same reason.

Each person who experiences losing a loved one, has a unique experience.

Round numbers recording the loss of life make the news,

but each number represents a unique individual.

Round numbers reek of a score, but

in reality, it is one more,

unique individual

that died.

Amen
