This makes me think about my father and two old photos I just discovered of him in my Mom's attic. One was him in his cap and gown, a proud graduate of Ohio State University. The other, dated 1932, was Dad in a ROTC uniform, marching on parade and dress inspection. Today, on this day of infamy, Pearl Harbor Day, it seems appropriate to remember Dad and his service in the war that was yet to come on that date in 1932, and the service of so many others who did not return from the "War to end all wars."
Thanks veterans, and here's to you Dad, one more thing you did for me and our family.
